Work At Home - How to write and distribute your articles!

One of the best and free ways to get traffic to your site is to write your own articles and publish them. This is by far the most profitable long term strategy.

Why would someone with a website want to write articles and get them published on other people's websites?

Think about this for a moment. Writing your own articles, distributing and publishing them on the world wide web is one of the very best *FREE* internet marketing technique that is out there. If you want long term online success, this is the best way to go.

Having your articles published on other people's websites is 100% FREE advertising for life. Doesn't that sound exciting?

So how do you start?

1. Who is going to write your articles?

The first thing that you want to do is to decide if you are going to write the articles yourself or have someone else do this for you. I personally prefer you to write articles yourself. The reason is because if you do write the articles, you will feel some sort of great accomplishment. You will feel very good about it. Plus, you don't have to spend your money on someone who will do that for you.

2. Brainstorming for ideas

Take a few minutes to brainstorm for ideas about what you want to write about. The next thing that you will want to do is to put those ideas into a short outline making 4-5 big points within the article itself and then fill in the blanks with your own point of view.

3. Add a resource box

Another thing that you will want to do is to add a resource box to the bottom of your article. What a resource box is, is really a way to allow your readers, when they are done reading the article, to have the option to look at YOUR website and see what you are offering there. Every article that you write, add a resource box to it with your website link.

4. Submit your articles

The best advice that I can give you about this is to go to any of the major search engines and do a search for "submit articles". What you will get there is a large list of websites that do accept articles. Some websites even allow you to pay them a fee and they will distribute your articles for you.

Once you have an article written, edited, and ready for other webmasters to add it to their websites, this will get you some free traffic which is always good. When your article shows up in the search engine for others to read, this is a gold mine for you. If people like what you have written, there is a very good chance that they will visit your resource box.

Also know that once more and more webmasters see and publish your articles, you will get more backlinks to your site which means that your site can have higher ranks in the major search engines. That will also bring you more and more FREE traffic. You will also get free traffic forever because many of your links that these webmasters added to their site will be there for a long time.

So writing and distributing your own article is one of the best ways to get *FREE* traffic to your site for months and years to come.
