The shape of violin basically consist of hollow box, which is generally made from wood (not include the electronic violin) with rounded ends and a narrow center like the shape of guitar but violin is very much smaller.

Violin consists of four strings and it has a violin bow when playing. The method of changing the tone of violin uses the same concept of guitar, which depends on the finger that pushes on the string and pitch. Push on the lower pitch give higher tone, meanwhile push on the higher pitch gives the lower tone.
