Skin Care That is Derived From Nature

By: Louise Forrest

There seems to be a greater emphasis on using organic skin care products and this with good reason. The ingredients that are used are sourced from the planet and have amazing healing properties so such a range of creams and lotions can work wonders for your skin.

Now do not think that organic skin products are cheap because they are not but at the same time they are not over priced and you do not need to re-mortgage your home in order to buy them and to take advantage of them. You do need to decide what it is that you want, if you are looking for your skin to be flawless and perfect then organic skin care is your only option, but you do need to make sure that what you are buying is actually organic and so many companies are making false claims.

There are some people who claim that even when using so called organic products they still developed blemishes and irritations to the skin, and this then means that just because something is organic does not mean that it is going to help you. It could well be that your skin is not suited to all organic ingredients.

What is a harsh reality is that there are great many companies that are using a range of chemicals in beauty products and this caries from skin care to make up, and this is why many people or opting to go organic, or at least they think they are, in order to avoid such chemicals entering their body.

If you are not sure what to look for then all that you need to do is to look at the labeling. This is what tells you what is in the product and the advertisement that you have seen on television with a famous celebrity is there to help you part with your money and no more. Such chemicals are named as Parabens, DEA and even alcohol causes problem to the skin and also to the hair.

Now some products that claim to be organic or natural are still using these harmful chemicals. What is happening is that only some of the ingredients are actually organic, the remainder of the product is made up of cheap natural fillers. In order to be certain of what is organic and what is not you need to still check the product label and you also need to be on the look out for the words Certified Organic.

These two words will tell you that there are no chemical additives at all and that the percentage of active organic ingredients is very high. In the UK for instance there is a group called the Soil Association which from time to time will also give its stamp of approval on certain products. If it does that you can be confident that what you are being is free from any toxic ingredients.

If you successful in selecting the right products that are chemical free and are indeed organic the results will be visible on the surface of your skin and even your hair will also benefit from an organic treatment.
