College students living in apartments or college dorms tend to over look the necessity of their own security. Even if the renter has renters insurance it is usually impossible to remember all of the belongings that were stolen unless he/she had a list of all of the valuable items in the apartment.

Since apartments and dorm rooms can be broken into easily, students and parents should look to take matters into their own hands for added protection.
