I Love My Cordless Roman Shades And Here's Why

Like roman shades but don't like how they are a pain to get to hand straight? Cordless roman shades eliminate this problem and a whole lot more. Let me introduce you.

Well a lot of problems have been solved with the introduction of cordless roman shade to the delight of a myriad of homeowners who liked the look of romans but could not stand the constant fidgeting with the cords to keep them even.

At least once a month on the nightly news you here about a young child hanging themselves with a blind cord. It's tragic that it has to be this way since it's a simple remedy. For most blinds the technology has been around for awhile, for roman shades this is the first year that the option has been available.

Around the first of the year Levolor introduced the cordless option. Now roman shades are safe for little children to play around. What a relief to know that your children and grandchildren won't be tempted by a cord hanging there to tantalize them.

2.Cordless Romans Look Great.

No more ugly cord hanging around to twist and turn and look dumb. With the cordless roman shade you get a clean look that accentuates the fabric pattern and the workmanship of the roman shade not the cord hanging there. You want to show off your roman shade not the cord!

3.Cordless roman shades are easy to use.

In the center of the bottom bar there is a hard plastic tab that you grasp with your fingers. Take this tab between your fingers and gently go up or down and the shade follows.

They use a spring gear to cause this to happen very smoothly, just like cutting soft cheese. No more trying to grab the cord in the right spot, you just grab this little tab and do your thing.

4.These cordless beauties are never crooked they always stay level.

One of the biggest drawbacks to roman blinds has been trying to keep the shade straight. Sometimes it would seem like it was impossible to keep the shade straight.

The cord lock was the reason for this nightmare. The cords would not lock in the cogs at the same time, making it almost impossible to hang straight.

Now with the cordless roman shade it's always straight. The best part is it stays in that spot till you want to raise or lower it and it is always level.
