Some furniture you never know you need until you have it in your home and can’t imagine life without it. For example hall benches are irreplaceable once you begin to use one. Not only do they provide a place to set your purse or rest for a minute and take off your shoes they also add a touch of classic style to your otherwise empty hallway.

Once seen outside a king’s or queens chambers presumably to offer those wishing an audience a place to sit and wait; hall benches have long been an important part of a home or castle’s décor. Place one in your entrance hall and you have a place to set your purse and purchases. Instead try shopping online and you’ll be amazed at the variety of styles and sizes of hall benches available and you’ll find the most reasonable prices as well. Maybe you want a basket type bench perfect for holding extra towels by the bathroom or blankets in the living room? Or perhaps you want a bright red bench with a drawer for each kid and hooks for their backpacks? If you are a thoroughly modern girl or guy you might like a quilted black leather ottoman bench with sparkling silver legs. No matter what your taste you are sure to find the perfect hall bench to access you décor.

Whether adding a focal point to your hall or entryway or just adding some additional seating to your living room or bedroom; hall benches are the way to go. From large wooden benches with gently curved arms to tufted ottoman benches that provide savvy storage, an extra seat and can be a coffee table as well you’ll find what you need online. And when you do populate your home with hall benches you’ll wonder how you survived without their seating and storage. Let one welcome you when you walk in the door and another give you a place to rest your tired bones.
