Whether you desire to lose fat fast is spontaneous or due to the fear that ailments may strike any time, it is very important.

The most imprudent step to lose fat fast is to crash diet or starve. This step will make your metabolism sluggish, and you will not be able to burn calories as you do normally. By crash dieting and starving, the body will think that it may not get food in the future for its maintenance, and it should start storing calories in the form of fats. Such stored fats will definitely increase your fat. Therefore, instead of crash dieting and starving, you should eat your food as frequently as possible. For example, if you are now accustomed to eat three large meals, you should split these foods into six or seven smaller meals and eat them often, may be every two hours. You will keep supplying to the body the required energy and since your metabolism is improved, you will be able to burn more calories.

Another step you should avoid to lose fat fast is to skip your breakfast. Breakfast has to supply the major portion of the day's energy and hence if you skip it, your output throughout the day will be below satisfactorily level. Another point is that you will tend to overeat during your next meal, which definitely increases your fat.

By advising you to eat as frequently as possible, you are not given a blanket permission to eat whatever you want like junk foods., processed foods and oily and spicy foods. These do not supply any nutrition to your body, but they contribute heavily to your body fat. Processed foods have been proven to contain a lot of chemical preservatives that are highly harmful. These chemical preservatives are a source of free radicals, and they cause immense harm to your system. To counter these free radicals, you should eat such fruits and vegetables that contain antioxidants and flavanoid. Instead of inviting such trouble by eating junk foods and processed foods, you can eat only healthy foods that contain a good quantity of proteins to build your muscles, carbohydrates to supply energy for the day and good fats for the efficient functioning of your brain. Bad carbohydrates are available all around us in ice creams, pastries, cakes, sweets and foods that are made from white flour and processed flour. Good carbohydrates are available in fresh vegetables and fruits, and they help you to lose fat fast.

You should increase your intake of water to a great extent if you want to lose fat fast. Before you commence eating your meal, you should drink two or three glasses of water. Experts suggest that food should occupy 70% of your stomach space and the remaining space should be left for gas and water.

Your diet regimen should be ably complemented by your exercise regimen that should consist of not only cardio exercises but strength training exercises. Cardio exercises help you to burn calories, but it has a disadvantage because it burns the muscles, to a certain extent. Hence you should do strength training exercises to re-build your muscles. Good muscles will definitely burn more calories because they need a good amount of calories for maintaining themselves. The greatest advantage is that a well-built muscle keeps burning calories around the clock.
