You cannot behave like a detached spectator who watches a play on the stage when your body gets fat and shows you that you need to take steps immediately to be slim down because it is your body, and it is your "play".
You may be surprised to hear the statement that follows. To lose fat quickly, you should eat well. Yes. It is true that you should eat well to lose fat. Starving or crash-dieting will not reduce your fat. However, instead, they will cause you more harm. Your body will face deprivation of essential nutrition due to starving or crash-dieting. Though in the initial few days of your starving or crash-dieting, you may lose a little fat, you may not see any further results after a certain period. This is because your metabolism is capable of adjusting to any type of eating, but it needs a few days to attune itself. Once it adjusts itself to your starvation mode, it will become slow, and you will not be burning as many calories as you were doing before you started the starvation mode. Then these unburned calories will get stored as fats. Further, your body will think that sufficient food may not be available for its future maintenance and hence calories should be stored as fat. This phenomenon of fat-storing will lead to fat gains.
By advising you to eat well to lose fat quickly, it is meant that your food must supply to your body all the required nutrition like proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Proteins are necessary for building a good muscle, carbohydrates for supplying energy and fats are needed for helping in good functioning of your brain. However, you should ensure to get only good carbohydrates and good fats.
Junk foods and processed foods must be totally avoided if you wish to lose fat quickly because these do not supply to you any of the above nutrients but never fail to add fat to your body. Processed foods contain chemical preservatives that are a source of dangerous free radicals that can harm your health in many ways. These chemical preservatives are harmful toxins that immediately reach your fat cells and sit inside them. Your fat cells thus become strong and to get rid of them will be an uphill task. It has been proven beyond doubt that those who eat processed foods regularly face health problems due to the abundant free radicals that enter the body through them.
The most effective way to lose fat quickly is to make changes to your eating routine. You must stop eating three large meals daily. However, you should split these three large meals into six or seven smaller meals and eat them more frequently, say at an interval of every two hours. This eating routine is capable of improving your metabolism and hence your body will be able to burn more calories. The total calories you supply to your body may be the same or even more than that of the three large meals put together, but you need not worry about that because they are all burned completely by the improved metabolism.
Another effective method is to eat your food slowly. Your brain does not possess the immediate capacity to realize that you are supplying your body with the required food. It takes 15 minutes to get this message. So if you eat fast, you may overeat before your brain gets this message. However, if you chew your food well and eat slowly, you allow your brain to realize this and by adopting this method, you can eat less and lose fat quickly.
By making these simple changes to what you eat and how you eat, you can definitely succeed in your attempts to lose fat quickly.
