- Chumming is a great way to do tuna fishing. By attaching a chum to the stem of the boat and allowing the chum to spread in the water to attract bait fishes, you can ultimately attract tuna fish. It is not your aim to overfeed the tuna fish, but you can attract them with this technique of using the chum. However, chumming has proven to be one of the most effective ways to have a good catch of tuna fish.
