Having dogs my entire life, I can truthfully say that I do as much as possible to ensure my dogs are glad and cozy. I have dogs houses for my dogs even though they sleep inside my house. My wife thought I was odd at first but she currently is fully on board with the significance of dogs houses.
Dogs want to spend time outside. They should enjoy the fresh air and running around the garden. They need to chase critters large and little and do what dogs like to do. I normally let my dogs out in the yard while my wife and I are at work. I feel more at ease leaving my dogs outside because I have dogs houses intended for them.
The dogs houses are there so they can have a rest in the shade, take a nap someplace relaxed or get out of the elements while the weather conditions turns a little raw. Admittedly, I don't let my dogs out in the yard when I am not home if the weather report is critical. I don't, however, worry about a speedy shower or even more than a few showers because I know they can get comfort in their dogs houses. Even the snow is OK and my dogs seem to like running in the snow, but then they like to get away in their dog house for a bit too.
I own both large and tiny dogs and every single one of them love their dogs houses. At first I was not sure if my 120 American bulldog mix was going to be too ecstatic slumbering in a dog house, but he loves it. His dog house is big enough to accommodate him and a number of his chew toys. Each of the dogs houses I purchased match the temperament of the dog it is for (plus my family did enhance them a little).
When I was buying the dog houses I ordered top quality houses. I desired to know that they won't disintegrate and will actually offer true shelter to my dogs as they required it or required it. Worth always pays for itself many times over. I also placed them on a patio that drains correctly so they will not get all filthy if it rains or snows.
My nieces and nephews painted name plaques for the dogs houses and we have made keeping them and customizing them a family affair. My siblings, their wives and my nieces and nephews have all gotten in on the act and the dogs love it!
My brothers like to ensure that there are not any structural problems with the dogs houses. They check them frequently, though I suppose they just find it fun and a good reason to get away from the women who like to gossip with my partner. I can't say I blame them.
The dogs are very much part of our family and we take as much pride in the dogs houses as we do with our house. I always obtain my dogs houses on the web, I get better offers and a better assortment. I tried to put together one several years back but determined my hands are better suited for other things.
