Why Internet Job Sites Can KILL Your Job Campaign!

Internet job sites kill my job search plans? C'mon! How can something so easy and convenient be a problem for me if I'm dead serious about getting ahead in the job market? After all, everybody finds a job this way, right? WRONG!

OK. You're anxious to get as much exposure as possible. Nothing wrong with that. But posting your resume on some of those popular and attractive job websites is definitely NOT the way to go . . . unless you plan to spend weeks or months looking for a job.

I suppose we're all victims of "do it fast and easy" electronic techniques. It seems logical. The internet job sites provide global exposure for our credentials. All you have to do is wait for one or two of those millions of internet users (many of whom are employers) to discover your electronic resume.

However, mass exposure didn't work in the days before the internet. And it doesn't work now. It's really just a question of statistics. The fact is that only 7% of job hunters have found "opportunities" on the internet that match their credentials. Notice, I didn't say they got job offers.

Job search experts know that relying on digital job search on internet job sites can seem hopeless. This doesn't mean that every so often someone hits. But you're more likely to get struck by lightning or win the lottery. There has to be a better way!

The truth is . . . there are no shortcuts!

Most folks find their next job as a result of a simple strategy called "networking." Whether you realize it or not, you probably got your last job because someone you know told you about it or sent you to someone who was in the know.

And that makes a lot of sense. Savvy decision-makers are much more amenable to job candidates who have been personally referred to them. Let's face it. No one is going to hire you because you've got a slick resume on some internet job sites. Or even a powerful work history.

Why?

Because hiring managers hire live, breathing, knowledgeable, and smart candidates. Ones they feel they have a personal rapport with. In spite of all the pre-screening by personnel assistants.

So, doesn't it make sense for you to do everything you can to expedite that process? But how?

What you need is a proven system that shows you step-by-step how to locate opportunities, meet face-to-face with your next boss, and negotiate for the best offer . . . and all without relying on a mindless dissemination of your resume on internet job sites. Can you see the incredible advantage you would have?

The good news is that you can now use proven alternative techniques to shorten your job search and be entertaining good job offers in as little as 14 days! Sure beats sitting around waiting for the phone to ring!
